Introducing Westerville Chiropractor Dr. Carey Girgis

I'm not only the chiropractor.  I'm also a patient!

One evening my wife and I were driving along and had to stop for the light.  I looked in the rear view mirror and saw lights of a car coming quickly towards us.  The impact and our injuries were severe.  As a healthy man, I had always been able to play with our two young children, do any work necessary around the home, and typically felt good.  After this accident, I had to have help to even roll out of bed in the morning.  I could no longer even pick up our young children. 

This continued for six years.  Anti-inflammatory medicines, muscle relaxants, pain killers, physical therapy, and over $12,000.00 later, I went to a world-famous clinic for answers.  There I got the same solution as before -- learn to live with it!!  I was very discouraged to say the least.  A friend of mine told me about chiropractic.  Reluctantly, I gave it a chance.

The chiropractor I saw took the time to explain why I wasn't getting better and what he could do to help me.  Within just a few weeks I was feeling much better.  By three months I was back to my normal self. 

That is why I am a chiropractor today!

Let me say that chiropractic does not help everyone.  There are cases that require surgical help or medicine to just control the pain.  But for those who are helped by chiropractic, a new world opens of freedom from unnecessary pain.

Education

Dr. Girgis graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City, Missouri, and holds the Advanced Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods Technique. 

Having practiced in Westerville since 1995, Dr. Girgis is a member of Westerville Sunrise Rotary, Westerville Chamber of Commerce, The Ohio State Chiropractic Association, and The American Chiropractic Association.  He is actively involved in his church and is a volunteer for Operation Christmas Child. 

Dr. Girgis and his wife, Sally, have six children and one grandchild.  Together they have worked to create an environment where you will receive individual attention from a highly educated and experienced doctor and well-trained staff.
